Wow…that was an awesome news cast! Some of our family already called to ask if that was the group Christina was going with. Rock On! Please give Christina our love, and tell her that we miss her so much already! You’re all in our constant prayers. Thanks for keeping us updated…we look forward to checking this everyday. PS ~ In case anyone’s still wondering…Amanda, the rocker chick with the two toned hair, was voted off A.I. last night.

Hi, Eric & Carissa Herhuth! We’re glad to hear that the beginning of your trip has gone well. We hope you had a chance to see the seals in LaJolla! That was one of our favorite parts of San Diego. We’re thinking of you as we shovel the snow we’ve gotten today … and it’s supposed to continue through the night! We hope the first night in Mexico goes well and that you have a good night’s sleep so you have lots of energy to lead and serve the Lord this week! Happy Easter to you and your whole team! We miss you and love you. I think Maggie’s going to say grace in your place tomorrow at our family dinner :-) Love you! Colleen, Joel (and of course Sparky, Dakota, and Maggie, too!)

  18. Andrea Seaton Says:
Hola todos! Espero que ustedes esten muy bien! Ever since you left, all of you have been in my thoughts and prayers! I miss being there in Mexico to share in the amazing experience. To the “Ministry Teams”, I hope that you will enjoy the time at your sites this week and that it will be filled with excitement and fellowship with the Mexican people. To the “Building Team”, I hope that all is going well! I know you went down with many concerns, so I pray that the Lord is lifting whatever barriers you may be facing. Michael - I hope that you got your lost baggage! I send nothing but love, thoughts, and prayers to all of you in Mexicali. Dios les bendiga! This next part is specifically for Sarah Chapman… Hola, mi amiga! I should have asked you this before you left; however, I just had this epiphany as I was stressing out about my Master’s project today! One of the project requirements is to include a cultural aspect in a lesson. I would like to compare American middle schools to schools in a Spanish-speaking country. I am having trouble finding solid facts. I am wondering if you would be willing to talk to the people at your site about this. It would be interesting to know things like: when the school year begins/ends; how long the school day is and if they go home for lunch/siesta; what they wear to school; what the grades are like (numbers, letters, descriptions); etc. I hope this request doesn’t sound too weird. If you don’t feel comfortable, I totally understand. But I thought that it might be a good conversation topic, and you could use the info with you students too. Muchas gracias mi amiga! Te extrano mucho!
  19. Hollie and Grace Says:
Hello! Happy Easter! Hope the trip to Mexico was a safe one. We can’t wait to hear how everything is going so far. Please know that all of you are in our thoughts and prayers. Scott, we love and miss you very much. Grace wanted me to tell you not to forget her cowboy boots. We are counting the days until you come home to us. Hello to Auntie Kelly, too! We are so proud of both of you. Much Love, Hollie and Grace
  20. Megan Durrant Says:
Hello Concordia! I wanted to wish everyone involved with this trip a Happy Easter and a blessed time!
